Fifty Shades of Grey Continued

Having posted a few weeks ago about the hype surrounding the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy I have now found out that the fashion industry has now gone even further in capitalising on the franchise.
In the older post I told you that brands such as Marc New York, Wolford and Norton and Townsend who have all launched various products or advertisments inspired by the story.

I think every industry will capitalise on the new craze as it simply makes money! New brands to jump on the band wagon are HYP who will start producing grey-themed tights, hosiery and Fifty Shades garters, FREEZE Clothing are launching their own Grey hoodies, t-shirts and knits and brand Briefly Stated will sell underwear, sleepwear, loungewear and daywear! E.L James has officially signed a deal with independent agency Caroline Mickler Ltd who will head the development of the Fifty Shades of Grey merchandise. The line is rumoured to include beauty products, lingerie, jewelry, bedding and home furnishings which will all be inspired by the series and obviously targeted at adult women.

I have also researched what other brands have launched products inspired by the kinky series and came across a lot of different products! Makeup and cosmetic brand Bobbi Brown has created a Fifty Shades of Grey inspired collection which includes a new line of smokey gray eyeshadows and long lasting gel liners.

Lingerie brand Agent Provocateur has understandably launched a fifty shades line featuring Penelope Cruz's younger sister Monica. The new range has been named Wilhelmina Show Your True Self.

An soundtrack album is also set to be released on the 21st of August which will be entitled Fifty Shades of Grey: The Classical Album! It is suppose to set the mood for whatever you get up too ;).
